EKGFt are oil-free switchgear bushings whose solid active part is made of resin-impregnated paper. The bushings contain a capacitive graded condenser core. The space between the bushing housing and the resin impregnated paper core will be dry filled with SF₆ free polyurethane insulating foam, resulting in an unpressurized gap. The air side housing is made of porcelain. The GIS flange can be manufactured according to individual customer specifications. This bushing design is available for rated voltages between 73 kV and 550 kV, and for rated currents of up to 4000 A.
- Optimum voltage distribution even when there are fast voltage changes
- Proven construction with cast resin insulation
- Lowest operating costs with little maintenance
- Use at very low ambient temperatures
- Flame-resistant properties
