HSP US has officially opened its doors in Charlotte, North Carolina — marking a historic milestone as the first U.S.-based production site for the Trench Group. With a $60 million investment, 170,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space, and up to 140 new jobs created by 2030, we are delivering on our commitment to North America.
Our Charlotte facility manufactures dry-type transformer bushings from 25 kV to 765 kV — bringing proven HSP technology closer to the customers, utilities, and grid projects that need it most. Shorter lead times, a stronger domestic supply chain, and deeper technical collaboration: that's what local manufacturing means in practice.
