How Cable Terminations work

Our cable termination system leverages capacitive grading to balance the electric field distribution within the solid insulation. This ensures smooth stress control and outstanding dielectric strength even under demanding high-voltage operations.

The secondary insulation between the condenser core and insulator is formed using nitrogen-based foam, combining lightweight design with robust electrical properties.

Every termination undergoes stringent quality assurance measures to verify mechanical and electrical perfection:

  • High-Voltage Test: Each unit must demonstrate partial discharge-free performance at a noise level ≤ 1 pC.
  • 3D Geometry Scanning: Ensures ideal stress cone formation and alignment.
